Open positions:

Title: Project Manager

Education: MS in Physics or equivalent

Must have detailed knowledge of high-resolution gamma ray and x-ray detectors including ASIC based detector readout electronics. Experience in pixel detectors for imaging applications is also required. Will be responsible for overseeing detector development projects from specification generation to characterization and test. Must be a self-starter with a proven track record to lead projects. Multi-location project management experience is a plus. Experience with GEANT 4, ComSol and/or other simulation tools and knowledge of Silicon Photomultipliers, APDs is also a plus.   

Title: Circuit Board Designer

Education: BS in Electronics or equivalent

NOVA is looking for a circuit designer with experience in schematic design and layout for low-noise analog circuits. Experience with high-speed gigabit data piping applications is required. In addition to developing designs for new imaging applications, the successful candidate will be involved in miniaturization of existing circuit boards through use of FPGA and/or microcontrollers. Knowledge of standard thermal dissipation techniques is a plus. Experience with circuit board design packages (preferably Altium Designer), thermal modeling software (like FloTherm) and electrical circuit simulation tools is required.
