Spectrum of 139Ce from a 1.75mm thick CdZnTe detector with a pixel size of 3x3 mm2, read out by a RENA™ chip. The spectrum was obtained at a temperature of 12 oC and a shaping time of 1.73 microseconds. The 33 and 37 keV x-rays from the Lanthanum K-series, which cause the peaks in the ADC range between 2000 and 2500, were suppressed by placing a 0.02" thick copper absorber between the source and the detector.
